Jo Jenkins Before the Galactic High Court of Conscious follows Jo, a former marine-biologist turned actuary, has finally found contentment in giving up concern for contemporary problems beyond her control (the future of humanity, the health of the planet, etc.). But when her partner brings up the prospect of marriage and children, and as she suddenly finds herself tasked with preventing the destruction of humanity by an intergalactic alien council, her way of being is thrown into question as we explore what it means to live in what truly feels like “end of the world”.
